The cuisine of Villa Tre Ville offers the flavours and scents of the land in which it stands, and of the sea it overlooks. The kitchen gardens that can be seen amidst the property’s terraces generously offer the fruits, vegetables and aromatic herbs of the season day by day throughout the year, skilfully cooked and presented by the chef of La Pergola restaurant.
The fish is caught daily in the waters off the nearby island of Li Galli and brings to table all the goodness of a healthy cuisine made using fresh, local products, including the olive oil made by Giovanni Russo on his ‘Santa Fortunata’ estate at Sorrento, the eggs from the same island, and the wines from the best local vineyards.
On offer are vegetarian dishes, fish and seafood on request, and meat. The flavours are as fine as the pleasure of dining on the large terrace of La Pergola in spring and summer, or, in autumn and winter, seated before the open fireplace in the drawing room in which Franco Zeffirelli often used to work or chat with his friends and guests.
The Salone Bianco, situated at the heart of the Villa Bianca, is in pure Positano style, and it is here that are served drinks and cocktails made with the finest products, spirits and fruit.
Full of light an ethereal, designed in masterful fashion by Renzo Mongiardino, the Salone Bianco stands out for the white ceramics made by Scotto of Vietri sul Mare, and for the Syrian mother-of-pearl furniture that used to belong to Zeffirelli.
The terrace of Villa Azzurra houses the Club Lounge, in which to spend some moments of solitary or shared relaxation at any time of the day between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., enjoying a cool drink, a dish or numerous tasty snacks prepared to order.
The terrace of Villa Azzurra, where the visitor may find both the Pergola and the Club Lounge, houses the fascinating and typical open-range kitchen with original majolica by artisans from Vietri. Just like in a private house, this space that is open to all guests fully reflects the homey philosophy that distinguishes Villa Tre Ville.
